Use

In this IMG activity, you activate inheritance of characteristics from a global item to the assigned local items.

In addition, you can define which of the following additional functions are available for inheritance:

  • Inheritance log
  • Overwriting of manually maintained characteristic values
  • Selection list for characteristics

For each document type, you can also specify a characteristic in which you can store a default value for the characteristic display.
