Use

In this IMG activitiy, you can activate the fast entry and inheritance of characteristic value assignments for purchase orders from a global item to the assigned local items.

You can also define which of the following additional functions are available for inheritance:

  • Inheritance log
  • Overwriting of manually maintained characteristic values
  • Selection list for characteristics

For each document item, you can also specify a characteristic in which you can enter a default value for characteristic display.
