In this step, you define the role categories that are allowed in the assignment of a business partner to a media product family, a media product or a media issue. This enables you to restrict assignments of business partners in certain roles to media product master records on a specific hierarchy level.

Requirements

You should already have defined the groupings for the SAP business partner.

Activities

  1. Enter the assignment category 'ISM001' and choose the hierarchy level for which you want to define the allowed role categories.
  2. Choose a role category for which you want to allow business partner assignments on this hierarchy level.
  3. If you wish, you can define how many business partners can be assigned to a media product master record in this role for each role category and can specify that at least one assignment is required.
  4. Specify the grouping for each role category.
  5. Repeat this procedure for the other hierarchy levels.
