In this step you maintain the general settings for the Enter classified ads Internet application component.

You maintain the data required under a freely definable key:

  • Maintain the sales area in which business partners and sales documents are to be created.
  • Maintain the sales document type and the item category to be used when creating the ad item.
  • Record a reference business partner. This business partner is used to simulate order creation if no separate business partner has been created for the customer. These types of business partner are also used as a template for the new business partner to be created.
    You should use a business partner that has the attributes that you want to give the customer from the Internet. Please note that you can only use business partners with internal number assignment.
  • Define whether credit card data is also to be saved in the business partner master data or whether this data is only to be saved in the order.
  • Specify the country from which your customers usually originate. The system uses this country to define default address and bank details for the customer.
  • Enter a form of address that you want to offer the customer as a standard selection.
  • Define the number of days for which a customer can book an ad in advance.
  • Specify the level of the content component hierarchy that is used to determine publication of lower-level content components. You can select content components of this level from the initial screen.
  • If design is not performed using technical system web editor, you must define the unit of measure for settlement, color scheme and design. The system converts the text that has been entered in the text field into the unit of measure for settlement.
  • If the Allow order selection indicator is selected, the customer can display their existing orders and use these as a template or cancel them.
  • Layout can be used to control how the list of orders is displayed.
  • You can use the Copy ad spec data using a template indicator to control whether ad spec data is also handled when an order is copied.
  • If an entry has been made for the cancellation reason, the customer can cancel orders by using this reason.
  • If you specify a key for check data, you can control when and how a customer is able to log on.
  • The Design performed in web editor indicator is used to define whether the ad spec is designed in a web editor in the technical system or whether the ad spec text on the HTML template is entered using an HTML text area and this text is saved as raw text in the order.
  • Destination for saving Internet data is used to define the situations in which orders and business partners are not created immediately, but are first saved in a temporary table. You can post-edit data saved in this table using the List orders from the Internet in the temporary table transaction and then convert these to orders and business partners.
  • You record the booking units that are booked in this scenario in the Admissible booking units dependent table.
  • You record the URL that is used to access the technical system from the IAC in the Web editor dependent table.

Further notes

You transfer the key for the order data in the URL that the ITS uses to log on to the ERP System. The URL must have the following structure:
http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/jhaw/!?~okcode=strt
<key> for Internet customers or
http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/jhaw_admin/!?~okcode=strt&
rjhatmo_iac-jwwwkey=<key>for the administrator.

<key> is the name of the scenario here.

If design has previously been performed in a web editor, additional parameters in structure RJHATMO_IAC can be transferred.

The most important parameter is unique identification of the ad spec in the technical system. This field is used to distinguish whether design is performed using a web editor.
