In this step you maintain the artwork type .

Use a key to record the short text for this type for the possible entries function (F4) and a long text to describe the key. You enter the key for the type of graphic when you create a document in Document Management.

Requirements

Types of graphic are closely associated with artwork types.

If your technical system supports the option of incorporating graphics from Document Management in the ad content and confirmation of their usage for pricing via the artwork assignment, an identical artwork type must be available for each type of graphic.

You should also create identical types of graphics and artwork if necessary.

Activities

  1. Check the types of graphic that you want to distinguish and those that can be distinguished by your technical system.
  2. Create the types required as follows:
    1. Specify an alphanumeric key with a maximum of four characters for each type.
    2. Enter the short text for the F4 Help (possible entries).
    3. Enter the long text.
