In this step, you define the sales area groups for the business partner search/selection in central access, classified order entry and the Customer Interaction Center.
The "Sales area group for BP selection" is used to group one or more sales areas together.

When the system prepares the business partner selection list for the business partner search, it selects all business partners/media customers whose sales areas belong to the current sales area group.

The current sales area group is derived from the sales area:

  • The sales area entered on the central access selection screen defines the sales area group.
  • The organizational data entered when classified order entry was accessed defines the sales area group here.
  • The sales area group is maintained in the Customizing settings for business partner processing in the Customer Interaction Center.
    Display uses a selection dialog box for the business partner.
