Use
Create Database Index for Billing Due List
Requirements
If your company accumulates a large number of entries that are due for billing (program RJHFAKT) at a specific point in time, selection can become a lengthy process.
Standard settings
The billing index table JHTFX is not provided with a secondary database index as standard.
Activities
It is advisable to create one or more secondary indexes for table JHTFX in the database to support selection.
- Identify the fields that you use most frequently in your selection restrictions for report RJHFAKT.
- Discuss which database indexes are required, which fields and the procedure for including these fields in the index with your system administrator.
- Note that the JHTFX database table is blocked exclusively whilst the index is being activated and that no write operations (such as saving an order) are possible during this period.
Example
Index I01 is provided in an inactive form for use as a template. This consists of the JHTFX-MANDT and JHTFX-FKDAT fields.
