During contract settlement, pricing is performed again using the discount conditions that are currently valid for each billing dataset that receives discount, bonus or a fixed quantity price from the contract. Price elements for discount, bonus and fixed quantity price are therefore also determined again.
You can use the entries in this table to control how the remaining price elements should be handled. Please note that not all data from order pricing is available for repeated pricing and it is therefore not possible to redetermine all price elements.
Example
The separate agency commission price element should be set to "Adjust", so that the changed commission basis is taken into account for separate agency commission when performing settlement for a twinned billing dataset.
The frequency discount price element should be fixed, since the number of repetitions that qualify for discount is not available. The same applies to double discount for discount conditions from a different contract (for which settlement is not currently being performed).
Standard settings
If no entries are made for a condition type, it is transferred without being modified during renewed pricing unless:
- It is a statistical condition or
- It is one of the contract conditions that is yet to be determined (this is of course only necessary if have made a different entry here).
During settlement of a scale base contract, the following rule applies:
- The contract condition is always calculated again.
- Other condition types are fixed if they have been entered in the possible entries for the condition types to be fixed (these possible entries are entered on the selection screen in dialog or by using a dialog box. It contains initial values as a default setting).
- Note: As soon as values are entered in the possible entries for the condition types to be fixed, the possible entries act as a selection option for the condition types to be fixed on a report selection screen.
- Other condition types, which have not been entered in the possible entries (particularly if the possible entries contains initial values), are handled according to this table, or are fixed if they have not been entered in this table. (However, statistical condition types are calculated again.
