In this step, you edit the issue sequences for media products and create media issues.
Activities
- Choose the pushbutton Template On/Off to specify the desired template issue.
- Select the entries and use the function Copy Default Values to choose whether you want to copy default values for copy numbers, for issue numbers or for both.
Note: If you copy default values for copy numbers, the previous copy numbers will be overwritten. - Choose Create Selected Media Issues to save the entries.
Recommendation: Schedule generation jobs at first (do not start them immediately) and execute generation in test mode before the update run so as to correct any errors that may occur before generation.
Further notes
When using template materials, you should ensure that all the segments that will later be needed for the media issues are created. Business partner assignments (JPTBUPAASSIGN) and ID codes (JPTIDCDASSIGN) are not copied from the template at present.
