In this step you define your credit control areas. The credit control area is an organizational unit in Accounting that sets and monitors a credit limit for customers.
A credit control area can include one or more company codes. You cannot divide a company code into several credit control areas. The credit limit must be specified in the same currency throughout a credit control area.
Caution:
IS-M/AM credit values are always updated in LIS using the update group 000012.
Standard settings
The credit control area 0001 is supplied with the standard system.
