Use
You can use this BAdI to assign contracts to individual generation groups. The generation groups are taken into account in order generation. Order generation can be executed separately for contracts that are in different generation groups.
Example
You manage Company A and Company B in the same client, since they both use the same master data (for instance, media products and media issues). Company A has the sales organization 1000 and company B sales organization 2000.
Both companies want to perform order generation independently of the other company. You implement the method GET_GENERATION_GROUP of this BAdI so that all the contracts with sales organization 1000 (i.e. those that belong to Company A) are assigned generation group A and all the contracts with sales organization 2000 (which belong to Company B) are assigned generation group B.
Specify generation group A or B on the selection screen.
