In this step you can exclude individual components in the contract, its settlement and the media-mix contract from the import for particular applications. This means that less data must be read from the database which in turn speeds up mass data processing.
Example
Assigned sales areas for the involved contracts are of no relevance during settlement of a media-mix contract unless you use them to generate output (customer exit). You can therefore exclude these components from the import for the Media-mix settlement application.
If you select the Update standing during import indicator, the system does not update the contract standing during the import.
Activities
Select all components in the assigned function module that are not to be read for the application.
Standard settings
You cannot select components required by the system. This exclusion process is only possible for those components that the system transfers to customer exits only.
