In this step you can define other rules for the contract validity period in addition to the existing rules for COA start and end.

In each additional rule for contract start, you can also specify whether the system should attempt to change the validity period for additional orders once the first assigned order has been assigned in a contract that has this rule so that new services also fall within the validity period.

Standard settings

The existing rules 1-6 for contract start do not allow the contract validity period to be adjusted subsequently.

Activities

Assign a one digit key (such as 7) for additional rules and create sub programs (such as LFZBEG_7 or LFZEND_7) in the main program SAPLXJHV (Include ZXJHVZZZ) that are used to calculate the start of the validity period. Use sub programs for the existing rules (such as LFZBEG_1 or LFZEND_1) as a template.
