In this step, you define the criteria, specific to the IS-HT-MES, that will be used to summarize and assign the inspection results for control charts to the processes.

You will define the following criteria:

  • 900 - Master Characteristic
  • 920 - Master Characteristic Material
  • F10 - Master Characteristic/Product Family
  • T10 - Master Characteristic/Tester

The SPC criteria determine how the system will maintain separate or collective control charts for different orders, work centers, materials, manufacturers or customers.

Example

Requirements

You have defined the control chart assignment once per inspection lot or made a new assignment in each inspection point.

Standard settings

Set up the criteria as follows:

  • 900
    • Short Text - Master Characteristic
    • Usage - Control Chart once per insp. lot
    • Name of Module - /sapht/spc_master_charact
  • 920
    • Short Text - Master Characteristic/Material
    • Usage - Control Chart once per insp. lot
    • Name of Module - /sapht/spc_master_char_material
  • F10
    • Short Text - Master Characteristic/Product Family
    • Usage - Control Chart once per insp. Lot
    • Name of Module - /sapht/spc_master_char_prod_fam
  • T10
    • Short Text - Master Characteristic/Tester
    • Usage - New assignment each insp. point
    • Name of Module - /sapht/spc_master_char_prim_eq
