In this step, you can:

  • Define how a decision is made to accept or reject inspection characteristics (valuation mode). These decisions are used in the sampling procedure.
  • Integrate IS-HT function modules that allow you to make the decision whether to accept or reject inspection characteristics.
    • 800 - SPC Inspection (the standard mode 800 must be deleted first)
    • 900 - SPC Inspection P-Charts
    • 910 - SPC Inspection U-Charts
    • U10 - Attributive Percentage

Requirements

The IS-HT-MES specific valuation modes are based on the IS-HT-MES specific valuation rules. Therefore the valuation rules must be set up prior to performing this action.

Standard settings

Set up the valuation modes using the following settings:

  • Mode 800
    • Short Text - SPC Inspection
    • Definition - Quality Control Chart Action Limits
    • Valuation Rule - 80
  • Mode 900
    • Short Text - SPC Inspection P-Charts
    • Definition - Attributive inspection by no. of nonconf. units
    • Valution Rule - 90
  • Mode 910
    • Short Text - SPC Inspection U-Charts
    • Defintiion - Attributive inspection by no. of defects
    • Valuation Rule - 91
  • Mode U10
    • Short Text - Attributive Percentage
    • Definition - Attributive Inspection by no. of nonconf. units
    • Valuation Rule - 94

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Delete existing valuation mode 800.
  2. Create valuation rules 800, 900, 910 and U10.
  3. Save your entries.
