In this step you create MES specific control keys. These control keys are used in the SPC Results Recording Call to PP-PI function. The control keys you will create are:

  • MES1
  • MES2
  • MES3
  • MES4
  • MES5
  • MES6

Requirements

Standard settings

Use the following settings for each control key:

  • Control Key MES1
    • Leave all the checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 3 - Confirmation Not Possible.
  • Control Key MES2
    • Leave all the checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 1 - Milestone Confirmation (Not PS/PM).
  • Control Key MES3
    • Select the Insp. char. required checkbox .
    • Leave all other checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 1 - Milestone Confirmation (Not PS/PM).
  • Control Key MES4
    • Select the following checkboxes: Scheduling, Det. Cap. Reqmnts, Insp. char. required, Cost.
    • Leave all other checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 1 - Milestone Confirmation (Not PS/PM).
  • Control Key MES5
    • Select the Insp. char. required checkbox .
    • Leave all other checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 3 - Confirmation Not Possible.
  • Control Key MES6
    • Select the Cost checkbox.
    • Leave all other checkboxes blank.
    • Make sure External Processing is set to Blank (Internally processed operation).
    • Set Confirmations to option 1 - Milestone Confirmation (Not PS/PM).

Recommendation

Activities

For each control key you will:

  1. Create the control key.
  2. Set the indicators.
  3. Save the control key.
