In this step you define status profiles for the MES Process Order Split and Rework functions.

The user status values are used to identify the types of split or rework actions that have been performed on individual process orders. The system looks for the PI000001 profile and looks for the user status values defined for that profile.

Requirements

Profile P1000001 must be defined.

Standard settings

In order to define the user status settings, you must modify the profile PI000001 to add the following user status entries:

  • CSPT - Process Order Created by Split
  • RSTR - Restart
  • RWRK - Rework Insert
  • SPLT - Process Order was Split
  • SPTM - Process Order Split Multiple

You must also modify the profile to accept the following object types:

  • Operation of Process Orders
  • Process Orders

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Select the status profile.
  2. Define the new user status settings.
  3. Translate the new user status settings.
  4. Assign the status profile to the object types
  5. Save your entries

Further notes

The user status must be translated (via the menu option) for each logon language (e.g. German and English). The user status codes (CSPT, RSTR, SPLT, SPTM) must remain the same in all languages. Only the descriptions require additional translation.
