Use
In this IMG activity, you define collective orders and the criteria that govern when you want to use these collective orders.
This function is only available to you if you use the SAP Ambulatory Care Management component.
Requirements
You have created the internal orders in CO with the order type for collective orders that you specified in Customizing for IS-H by choosing SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Integration with Controlling -> Maintain Basic Settings. Make sure that internal number assignment is defined for the order type, otherwise the automatic creation of collective orders is not possible.
Enter the characteristics you want to use in the IMG activity Configure Customer Settings. For information about this, see the IS-H Implementation Guide under SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals -> Integration with Controlling -> Characteristics -> Configure Customer Settings. Make sure that you assign the Outpatient Area indicator indicator to the characteristics that you want to use for collective order determination.
Standard settings
Activities
Specify an institution, and make the relevant entries in the other fields. For more information, see the F1 Help for the respective field:
- Receiver (Order)
Number of the CO internal order for the collective order
- Priority of Collective Orders for Outpatient Case-Based Orders
Priority of the collective order; the definition of the collective orders is processed by ascending order of priority during the determination process
- Valid From
Date as of which the collective order is to be valid
- Valid To
Date up to which the collective order is to be valid
In the Characteristic Selection for Collective Order view, make entries in the following fields:
- Supported Characteristic
- Sequence Number for Characteristic Selection Collective Orders
- SIGN
- I for Range limit included
- E for Range limit excluded
- OPTION
Range limit, for example EQ for Equal to or BT for Between ... and ...
- Characteristic Value From
Lower limit of an interval, or a single value for a characteristic value
- Characteristic Value To
Upper limit for a characteristic value
The systems evaluates the specified characteristic selections along with the definition of the collective order when billing for outpatient cases so as to determine the appropriate collective orders for the cases. It determines the values for the characteristics in succession, and checks them against the characteristic selection.
The system proceeds according to the priority assigned in the collective order definition and evaluates the validity period by means of the billing date.
If all of the characteristic selections defined for a collective order apply, the system assigns the collective order to this outpatient case.
Copy the Settings
To copy the settings into another period (for example, for the next fiscal year or quarter), use the transaction HCO: Copy Collective Orders (NCOR). This transaction can automatically create the required internal orders in CO if you have specified internal number assignment for the order type for collective orders.
