Use
In this IMG activity, you assign a revaluation key to each asset master record.
For every asset master record, assign one revaluation key to each revaluation area. For example, if you have one revaluation area for tax purposes and another for controlling purposes, assign a revaluation key to each.
This applies to every asset master record, including assets that do not have to be revaluated. These you must assign a revaluation key that results in zero revaluation amounts.

Enter the revaluation key in the asset master record maintenance transactions Create Asset Master Record or Change Asset Master Record as follows:
- On the Deprec. areas tab, double-click the revaluation area.
- Choose Data for revaluation.
- Enter the revaluation key.
