Use

In this IMG activity, you create revaluation measures. These are system objects that show which revaluation area is linked to which depreciation area.

The revaluation measure controls which revaluation area the system takes the revaluation amounts from when you dispose of an asset: during this procedure, the system calculates any gain or loss on the asset disposal on the basis of the revaluated asset value.

Activities

Create one revaluation measure for each real revaluation area. Enter data as follows:

• Date: The date on which you first revaluated the assets, so as to ensure that the system takes into account all of the asset values
• Base Area: The asset's book depreciation area
• Revaluation Area: The asset's revaluation area
