Use

In this IMG activity, you maintain the inflation methods. In the following activity, you then assign an inflation method to each company code.

The inflation method is a series of settings for the Inflation Accounting solution at company code level, so normally you define one inflation method for every company code that uses the solution. If, however, two company codes share the same requirements with regards to inflation accounting, they can use the same inflation method.

Example

Requirements

Standard settings

The system comes complete with sample inflation methods for each country version, which you can use as the basis for your own inflation methods.

Recommendation

Activities

The inflation method consists of three parts, one each for the different components affected by inflation. Activate the Inflation Accounting solution for Materials Management (MM) and enter other data as required.
