Use
In this Customizing step, you can check the process flow provided by SAP.
The sequence number defines the order of the segments during the archive run.
For each segment that has to be archived, a function module for the data selection from the database table has to be assigned. In some cases, there is no function module assigned. This is done to document that the segment is recognized in the archive run but not as a separate step during the process flow of Context Data Extractor. From a technical perspective, it is possible to archive data for more than one segment in one function module. It is useful to archive a table and the corresponding text table in one step implemented in one function module.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP delivers entries that you should not change.
Activities
Usually, you do not have to change this configuration, because it is delivered by SAP. If you want to influence the flow and add customer-specific segments to the process flow, you can do this in the next Customizing step Define Customer-Specific Extraction Flow.
