In this IMG activity you can create roles and generate authorization profiles by means of the profile generator. You can then assign users to the roles.

Authorization objects in Industrial Hygiene and Safety:
- Authorizations for work area header
- Authorizations for agent type
- Authorizations for object status

- Authorizations for editing the original analysis value
When you set the object Authorizations for object status, the input help for the Status field shows the key that is assigned internally by the system. To find the meaning of this key, start an additional session and call up the IMG activity Display Defined Status for Object Types.
In order that the authorization check for the document and user-defined text link is run, you must also execute the program REHS_ENABLE_FTXT_AUTHORITY_CHK.
Also note that you require authorizations for integrated SAP functions, for example, if you create absences within the framework of incident/accident management. For more information, see:
