This IMG activity allows you to specify the workflows for Information Worker applications, and define user role actions when an activity status is changed.

Activities
- Roles --> displays the list of user roles configured for Information Worker.
- Applications --> Workflow-ID allows you to specify the workflows for various Information Worker business applications.
- Applications --> Action allows you to specify the actions when the status of Information Worker activity changes.
To view the list of user roles configured for Information Worker:
- Under Dialog Structure, double-click Roles.
To define the workflow settings for a business application:
- Double-click Applications and select a business application.
- Double-click Workflow-ID and select a workflow ID.
- Double-click Custom Handlers to configure the workflow (for inbound or outbound calls) for the application.
Column Description
CH Flag Select the custom handler flag, whether inbound calls or outbound.
Counter For more than one APIs called for the workflow, specify the sequence of the API to be called.
Custom Handler API Specify the API to be called for the workflow. To call multiple APIs in sequence, create another workflow and increment the Counter field.
- Double-click Tasks. Double-click on a sub-workflow ID to configure the sub-workflows for the application.
Column Description
Application ID Select the application for which the workflow is defined.
Workflow ID Select the workflow for which the task is defined.
Sub-Workflow ID Specify the sub-workflow ID. (If there are no sub-workflows, enter the main workflow ID here.)
Workflow Step Enter the sub-workflow step number.
Groupware Object Type Select the object for the task.
Recipient Role Type Select the user role that is the recipient of the object.
Sub-Workflow Type Select the workflow type.
Workflow Task ID Specify the workflow task ID.
Task Agent's Role type Select the user role that should act upon the workflow object.
GPW Bound Item type Select the bound item type.
To define the status change actions for Information Worker applications:
- Double-click Applications and select a business application.
- Double-click Action. Click New Entries to create a new action, or edit an existing action.
Column Description
In-Status Code Select the existing status of the workflow.
New-Status Code Select the new status of the workflow.
Role type Select the user role for which the action is defined.
Action Select the action for the object.
Object Typ Select the object for which the Action column is defined.
Object ID Select whether the object type is bound, a notification or an error.
Active [flag] Select whether the action is active or inactive.
