In this IMG activity you can define the identification number categories.
Identification number categories are used within the additional partner numbers for the business partner for categorizing identification numbers. The additional partner numbers are on the Control tab page. You can use the additional partner numbers to enter any number of customer-specific business partner numbers for the business partner.
The additional partner numbers supplement the identification numbers for the SAP Business Partner on the Identification tab page, and provide additional Customizing settings for them.
After you have defined the identification number categories in this IMG activity, you can make the settings for the usage of the identification number categories in the IMG activity Set Identification Number Categories.
