In this step you determine how HR master data is processed. The following options are available:

  • Data is processed as soon as it arrives in the inbound IDoc. To do so, choose Immediate processing field. Data that is processed immediately is assigned one of the following statuses:
    • Transferred data complete and additional data must still be entered
      To completely process the hiring action, you must enter more data.
    • Error during automatic processing of external employee data
      The data contains errors and was not transferred. The errors first must be corrected.
    • Rejected
      The system rejected the data for one of the following reasons:
      - Employee with this external ID already hired
      - Personnel number already assigned
      - Transferred data could not be processed
  • Data is stored in the interface, but not processed immediately. This data is assigned the status
    • New employee data for manual processing
      The data is not processed immediately. An administrator must start the processing manually.

If you enter the name of a user in the User name field, this user receives a system message when inbound processing has finished. The message contains statistics on the status of the imported data, and also allows the user to call up inbound data that was processed manually.
