Use

In this process step you create an RFC connection for the search engine.

You must create an RFC connection to enable you to connect the TREX search engine to the SAP R/3 system in which XML documents are present.
You must perform this activity before you install the search engine. This is because you must enter the ID for the RFC connection when you create the search engine.

To set up the connection, proceed as described in the implementation guid "Installing/Administrating TREX in a Non-Portal
