Use

In this IMG activity, you define process groups for the XI scenarios. The process groups are used to assign possible processes that can be started to an XI scenario.

Requirements

You have performed the Specify Valid Processes for Start Through XI Inbound Processing IMG activity.

Standard settings

Activities

You create process groups in HR Administrative Services Customizing by choosing Form/Process Configuration -> Process Configuration -> Set Up Process -> Process Groups. Proceed as follows:

1. In the IMG activity Define Process Groups, define the process groups to which you want to assign the processes. It is also possible to use an existing process group rather than creating a new one.
2. In the Group Processes for UI Control and Collision Check IMG activity, assign the processes that you want to make available for starting for the XI scenario to the process group.
3. If you want to make settings with regard to the collision check and parallel running, also perform the following IMG activities:
• Link Processes with Process Groups for Collision Check
• Permit Parallel Running of Process

Example

You create the process group HIRE (Hiring) and assign the Hiring (Germany) and Hiring (US) processes to it.
