Use

In this IMG activity, you specify for reports the static values with which mandatory fields on the selection screens for these reports are to be prefilled.

Field values for the selection fields can be entered statically or determined dynamically. You use this IMG activity to enter the static values. You enter the dynamic field determination using the IMG activity Prefill Selection Fields for Reports: Dynamic Field Selection.

Note

A selection field can only be determined dynamically or statically.

Requirements

You have performed the IMG activity Specify Reports with Default Field Values to enter reports that are to be started by the system directly.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter a report.
  3. Enter the field on the selection screen of the report that you want to fill with default values.
  4. Assign a sequential number.
  5. Enter the selection conditions from which the default values for the fields can be derived.

Example

You want to create an employee list (transaction S_AHR_61016369). The report is to be started for the personnel area DE01 only. The report is based on several employees.

This results in the following entries:
