Use

In this IMG activity, you specify for reports the dynamically determined values with which mandatory fields on the selection screens for these reports are to be prefilled.

Note

The dynamic field determination is only possible for reports that are related to individual employees.   

Field values for the selection fields can be entered statically or determined dynamically. You use this IMG activity to enter the dynamically determined values. You enter the static field determination using the IMG activity Prefill Selection Fields for Reports: Static Field Selection.

Note

A selection field can only be determined dynamically or statically.

Requirements

You have performed the IMG activity Specify Reports with Default Field Values to enter reports that are to be started by the system directly.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter a report.
  3. Enter the field on the selection screen that is to be filled with default values.
  4. Enter the infotype and the field name of the infotype from which the default value of the selection field is to be derived.

    Note

    The determined data is always determined from the current valid infotype records.

  5. If necessary, enter information for other fields that are to be filled with default values dynamically.
  6. Save your entries

Example

You want the Remuneration Statements report (transaction PC00_M01_CEDT) to be started directly for the country grouping 01 for a preselected personnel number. On the selection screen, the Payroll Area field is a mandatory field and therefore must be filled with a default value.

This results in the following entries:
