Use
In this IMG activity, you can specify that the user can execute the start application of a process without having to first select a start object. You can assign this attribute at the process group level.
Requirements
You have created at least one process group in the IMG activity Define Process Groups.
Standard settings
Activities
- In the Proc.Grp column, use the value help (F4) to select a process group.
- To be able to start the processes in this process group without first selecting an object, set the indicator in the W/o Obj. column.
Example
An employee to be hired does not yet have a personnel number at the start of the hiring process. You set the indicator for the Hiring process group. In this way, you can initiate the hiring without having to select a personnel number first.
