Use
In this IMG activity, you define several start applications for an initiator role to provide different processes for the initiator's different responsibilities.
You can create several iViews for the start applications in the Portal. You can use the application parameters of the Portal iView to control which processes are created in which iView.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
You make the following settings in your Portal system.
To create several iViews:
- Use the following iView as a copy template when you create your own start applications:
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.erp.hradmin.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.hradmin.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.hradmin.procst
- Enhance the following application parameters for each iView and separate them with &:
- RoleContext
- The RoleContext parameter specifies the Initiator role whose processes are displayed in the iView (for example, RoleContext = HRASRA delivers the processes for the HR Administrator).
- ProcGrp
- The ProcGrp parameter specifies the process group whose processes you want to display in the iView. You have performed the IMG activity Define Process Groups to create the process groups.
- Example: (ProcGrp = DEMO) indicates that only the processes of the DEMO group are to be displayed in the iView.
Example
You want to set up different iViews for the HR Administrator Initiator role and thus clearly separate the responsibilities of the different users. For example:
- An iView for processes required by an administrator for time recording
- An iView for processes required by an administrator for payroll
- An iView for processes required by an administrator for HR master data
- An iView for retirement pension plan processes
You create the different iViews using the copy template. You assign the process group that contains the processes you want displayed on the user interface for the relevant start application to each of the ProcGrp parameters.
