Use

In HCM Processes and Forms, we deliver sample processes that support you in configuring your own business processes and form scenarios.

For information about the sample processes delivered and their descriptions, see SAP Library under HR Administrative Services -> HCM Processes and Forms -> Sample Processes in HCM Processes and Forms.

The sample processes are for demonstration purposes and can be used in a test system only. The following section describes the necessary steps to get the sample processes to run in the current test client. The sample processes are not to be used in a production sytem.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Execute the IMG activity Perform Client Copy According to Piece List to transfer the objects from the object list in client 000 to the current client.
  2. Execute the IMG activity Perform Comparison Run Using Object List to compare the Customizing objects in the object list HRASR_PROCESSCONTENT.
  3. Execute the IMG activity Compare Form Scenarios to check whether all form scenarios used in the sample processes exist in the copied processes.
  4. Execute the IMG activity Specify Number Range Interval for Reference Numbers of Process.

    Note

    The standard implementation of the BAdI for generating reference numbers is used for the sample processes. The implementation returns 12-digit numeric reference numbers.

  5. Execute all IMG activities under Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process Configuration -> Technical Settings.
  6. Execute the IMG activity Assign Possible Processors to Error Categories to set up error handling.
  7. Execute the IMG activity Activate Event Coupling for Workflow Template of Sample Processes to activate the triggering event for the relevant workflow template of the sample process.

If you want to test the sample processes for "Hiring" with the XI integration for SAP E-Recruiting, you must also first execute the following IMG activities:

  1. Under Configuration of Forms/Processes -> XI Integration, execute the following IMG activities:
  2. Under Configuration of Forms/Processes -> XI Integration -> Set Up Process Start for XI Scenario, execute the following IMG activities:
  3. Then, execute the following IMG activity under Configuration of Forms/Processes -> XI Integration:

Note

Note that in addition to these IMG activities, SAP E-Recruiting must also be configured for XI integration accordingly.
