Use

This IMG activity displays all Generic Services that were created with enhanced functions. You can also implement new Generic Services with enhanced functions.

Generic Services with enhanced functions also implement the BAdI HRASR00GEN_SERVICE_ADVANCED, in addition to the BAdI HRASR00GEN_SERVICE_BASIC.

You can either implement a Generic Service with enhanced functions with this IMG activity or with the IMG activity BAdI: Implement Generic Services. The procedure is the same in both cases.

The essential differences between the two IMG activities are as follows:

  • The IMG activity BAdI: Implement Generic Services supports:
    • The display of the implemented Generic Services with basic functions
    • The display of the implemented Generic Services with enhanced functions
    • The creation/editing of Generic Services with basic functions
    • The creation/editing of Generic Services with enhanced functions
    • The retroactive enhancement of a Generic Service with basic functions to a Service with enhanced functions.
  • This IMG activity supports:
    • The display of the implemented Generic Services with enhanced functions
    • The creation/editing of Generic Services with enhanced functions

Therefore, this IMG activity has significantly restricted functions. However, it provides an overview of all Generic Services that were implemented with enhanced functions.
