Use
You can use the Delete History Data report (RPASR_DAB_HISTORY) to delete all history data that was created by the system for the employee data maintenance in the Portal whenever an infotype record is changed and that is older than a specified date or period.
In this way you ensure that the volume of data saved for the history does not become disproportionately large.
In the employee data maintenance you can view the last infotype records that were changed (created, deleted, copied, locked) for each user. The default period for this is 30 days.
The system saves the following in a table as history data whenever an infotype record is changed: personnel number, infotype number, subtype, date of change, person who made the last changes. From time to time you can and should use this report to delete all data that is older than the specified time interval to ensure that the volume of data does not get disproportionately large.

Activities
- Specify how old the history data should be to qualify for deletion.
You can store the following criteria:
- Number of days: All records are deleted that are older than the specified number of days.
- Date: All records are deleted that were created before the specified date.
- Start the report in the test mode. The system indicates the number of records that would be deleted and how many would remain.
- Set the Delete indicator and run the report again. The system deletes the records from the relevant table.
