Use

In this IMG activity, you copy the case types that are delivered by SAP in the standard system for HCM Processes and Forms from the delivery client. It is important that you transfer the case types unchanged.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP delivers the following case types in the standard system:

  • Process (H_PO)
  • Scenario (H_FO)
  • Step (H_SO)

Activities

  1. Copy the three case types in the standard system.
    1. To do this, execute the IMG activity. The system displays the maintenance view of the case types.
    2. Choose the Adjustment function in the Utilities application menu. The system opens a dialog window.
    3. In the dialog box, enter the system connection to the delivery client (000) and choose Execute. The system opens the Overview: Comparison view that displays which differences exist between the current logon client and the comparison client (in this case, the delivery client). For more information, see Utilities -> Legend.
    4. Select the three case types H_FO, H_PO, and H_SO and choose Edit -> Compare. The system opens the detail view for the first selected entry.
    5. Transfer all three entries from the delivery client. To do this, choose Edit -> Compare -> Copy All Entries.
    6. Choose Goto -> Back to switch to the previous Overview: Comparison view. The three entries for the case types are now set as identical to the comparison client.
    7. Choose Goto -> Back again to return to the maintenance view for the case types.
    8. In the dialog box, confirm the transfer of the changes. The system displays the copied entries in the maintenance view of the case types.
    9. Save your changes.
  2. Adjust the Customizing settings of the case types with those of the standard system. Execute the following steps for each of the case types copied from the delivery client. Then save your changes.
    1. Select one of the three copied case types and select the Customizing for Case Copy work step in the dialog structure.
    2. Choose the Adjustment function in the Utilities application menu.
    3. Enter a connection to the delivery client (000) and adjust the Customizing settings of the case types. Copy all entries for this case type from the delivery client.
    4. Choose Case Type Management in the dialog structure to return to the overview of the case types.
