Use

In this IMG activity, you assign the customer-specific Statement Wage Type and Manual Wage Type in your Grouping Spec/NrP (for example, VERS_EMPF_BUND_LAND) to the models for special payment. You do not assign model wage types here.

Requirements

You have already set up models and groupings for special and non-recurring payments and assigned models to the groupings in the Implementation Guide under Payroll: Germany -> Industries -> Public Sector -> Special and Non-Recurring Payments.

Standard settings

Activities

To assign your own wage types to models, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Grouping Spec/NrP field, use the input help (F4) to select the grouping you require for the special payment in the pension calculation (for example, VERS_EMPF_BUND_LAND).
  2. Select a row and choose Details.
  3. In the Processing group box (Statement Wage Type and Manual Wage Type input fields), replace the model wage types with your relevant customer wage type (for example, Annual Special Payment).
  4. Choose Save and Back.
  5. Repeat this process for the other models in this grouping.

    Note:

    If the reduction in accordance with Section § 4a of the German Public Sector Pension Act (BeamtVG) does not apply, make sure that the grouping that you selected does not contain the following five reduction models:

    • MINDERUNG § 4A ABS.1
    • MINDERUNG § 4A VFREI
    • O073 AUS VORMONAT
    • O075 AUS VORMONAT
    • SOZA FÜR § 4A ABS.1
