Use
To calculate a bonus in accordance with Section §50c of the German Public Sector Pensions Act (BeamtVG), the number of months with an entitlement to a widow's pension plus child bonus are specified in infotype 0322 (Pension Payments). An important aspect of this is whether or not the parental leave is assigned to the old or new federal states.
In this IMG activity, you use the feature Standard and Alternative PS Area Bonus Section §50c BeamtVG (DOVTG) to specify which pay scale area is used as a standard or alternative pay scale area when calculating the Section §50c bonus.
The system uses the relevant pay scale area to read the current pension value from the table Current Pension Value (East, West) (T7DEPBSVAVG01).
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system uses pay scale area 20 (West) as the standard pay scale area and pay scale area 30 (East) as the alternative pay scale area.
