Use

In this Customizing activity you use the feature Calculation of individual percent increase 1990 (DOV90) to control the calculation of the individual percentage increase on January 1, 1990 within the simulation of the reduction amount in accordance with § 57 of the German Public Sector Pensions Act (BeamtVG).

The actual calculation is performed in the infotype Pension Equalization Payment (0785) to fill the display field Percentage Increase (Automatic) on tab page Individual Increase 1990 and in payroll in the simulation of the justified amount, if the end of the length of marriage is before 01.01.1990 and the individual percentage increase was not specified in the field Percentage Increase (Alternative Requirement).

The return value has the structure xxxxxxxx/yyyy/zzzz/ssss :

  • xxxxxxxx
Wage type model that defines for which wage types the comparison calculation for January 1, 1990 is to be performed, based on the assignment using table T539A. The wage type model usually contains the basic salary, the cost-of-living allowance, and the general allowance for special services.
The specified wage types are evaluated for the date January 1, 1990 using the pay scale table. The amounts defined in this table are the amounts after the increase on January 1, 1990. This is particularly important for the general allowance for special services. The amount must already include the increase amount (entered under yyyy).
  • yyyy
Wage type in which the increase amount is maintained using T510 (depending on the pay scale group, either 60DM or 83DM).
  • zzzz
Wage type to which any amount entered in the field Total Bonuses in the infotype Pension Equalization Payment (0785) is assigned. The wage type and its text appear when the comparison calculation is displayed in the notification. The amount is incorporated into the sum total of the pay.
  • ssss
Wage type with which the general allowance for special services is paid. When this wage type is entered, in the notification, the allowances before the increase on 01.01.1990 are displayed as the increase amount (yyyy) subtracted from the general allowance for special services.
If no wage type is entered, the increase amount is subtracted from the wage type shown in the first line of the relevant service allowances.

Activities

Some of the activities listed below extend beyond the maintenance of this feature, but are associated with the calculation of the individual percentage increase.

  • Set up the wage type model with the relevant wage types in table T539A and enter the return value of the characteristic at position xxxxxxxx of this model.
  • Copy the entries for wage type /O90 in table T510 for your pay scale groups.
  • Copy model wage type OV90 to your new customer wage type and enter this wage type in the third position of the return value.
  • In the fourth position, enter your wage type for general allowance for special services.

Example

0010                &DOV90=----5OV-//O90/OV90/O0AS

In this case, the model returns "----5OV-", which can be viewed in table T539A. This table lists the wage types that must be taken into account in the comparison, for example, O002, O018, O0AS.

The second return value of this example is wage type /O90, which contains the amounts of the one-off increase amount on January 1, 1990 according to table T510, which is either 60.00 DM or 83.00 DM, depending on the pay scale group.

The third return value is wage type OV90 (Total Other Bonuses 01.01.1990). When displayed in the notification, this wage type contains the sum specified in the field Total Bonuses in the infotype Pension Equalization Payment (0785) (in this example, 50.00 DM).

The fourth return value contains the wage type of the general allowance for special services, which is also included in the wage type model. In the calculation before the increase of January 1, 2009, the increase amount (in this case 60.00 DM) is subtracted from the general allowance for special services when displayed in the notification.

For this example, the calculation in the notification is as follows:

Pensionable                 Before Increase        After Increase
Service Allowances                01.01.1990            01.01.1990

Salary Grp A11/Level 11            3412.03 DM        3412.03 DM
COL allwc Level 1                694.49 DM        694.49 DM
Gen allowance for special services    100.00 DM        160.00 DM
Sum add. allwcs 1.1.1990    50.00 DM        50.00 DM                                                _____________________________

Sum Total                    4256.52 DM        4316.52 DM

Increase:            ( 4316.52 DM - 4256.52 DM ) x 100 / 4256.52 DM = 1.41 percent
