Use
To be able to calculate the bonus automatically within the severance pay calculation for a change of public sector employer before January 1, 2004, you require a model for the bonus calculation for active public sector employees. In this Customizing activity, you assign the model for the special bonus for public sector employees to your grouping for public sector employees. In the standard system, this is the model SONZUWENDUNG_BEA.
Activities
Start the Customizing activity and in the dialog box (input field Grouping Spec/NrP), select your grouping for public sector employees, for example, Federal Civil Servants.
Enter the model SONZUWENDUNG_BEA for the special bonus with the validity period from January 1, 1900 to December 31, 2003.
Select a free sequence number and enter your wage type for the special payment in the Processing group box for both the statement wage type and the manual wage type. This means that you do not require a new wage type here. The reason for this is that this model is used exclusively for the severance pay calculation where no wage types are depicted, in contrast to payroll. The wage type only occurs here in Customizing, but not anywhere in the calculation.
In the Execute in Period(s) group box, select the execution of the model for all months, regardless of when the special bonus is actually paid. This is the only way for the special payment to be calculated within the framework of the severance pay calculation for each date of a change of public sector employer.
