Use
In pension administration it is necessary to determine the legal age limit in various calculations.
Up to now, the legal age limit used in all of Germany was the end of the month in which a person reaches the age of 65.
When the Service Regulations Readjustment Act (DNeuG) was passed for all public sector federal employees, judges, and soldiers, the legal age limit was changed for this group to match the changed pensionable age.
Since due to the federal reform it can also be expected that an adjustment to the general age limit will be made in the area of the federal states, all the necessary enhancements in the various calculations are realized using this BAdI.
The legal age limit plays a role in the following calculations:
- Cession of Pension Percentage Increase According to Sec. 14a BeamtVG
- Cession of Consideration of Bonus Times According to Sec. 50e BeamtVG
- Different Maximum Limit According to Sec. 53 Para. 2 Clause 3
- Exclusive Imputation of Earnings Expenses from Public Sector According to Sec. 53 Para. 8
Requirements
Standard settings
The regulations of the DNeuG are provided as the default implementation. However, it is always checked in these regulations to see if the DNeuG applies to each personnel case (indicator #D# in table V_T5DPBS3A).
After the check, the CL_HRDEPBSVAVG_AGE_L_DNEU class is called, which is also used when determining the special age limit (Define Calculation Rules for Determining Age Limits).
If the personnel case does not belong to the DNeuG group of employees, no date is determined by the default implementation. The previous legal age limit (65) then applies.
Activities
In the case of federal state-specific regulations, a customer-specific implementation can be made. If necessary, the default implementation logic of class CL_DEF_IM_HRPBSDEVAVG_GES_AGR can be accessed.
