In this IMG activity, you specify the output medium with reference to a participant type (such as person or organizational unit).
Example
When you enter the value M for participants of type P (person), you specify that an employee of your company should receive notifications from Training Management via e-mail (if a valid mail address is stored).
Requirements
The relevant addresses or parameters for the various output media (e-mail, fax, printer and so on) must be available.
Standard settings
The standard system contains no predefined participant type-related output media.
Recommendation
Ensure that the output medium you define is actually available for the participant type concerned.

Enter output media for participant types.
Further notes
The participant type-related output control overrides the output control you set in the IMG activity Specify User-Specific Output Control.
The settings made for participant type output control serve as default values for manual output.
