In this IMG activity, you can assign the activities in Training Management (known as logical function codes) either customer-specific notification abbreviations or standard ones delivered by SAP.
Example
The activity Book participation in planned course (logical function code BOKP ) is assigned the notification abbreviation BUCH, which stands for Registration, confirm provisionally.
If output control is set to printer for the notification abbreviation BUCH in the step Specify user-specific output control, this activity automatically triggers output to the printer specified in the user master data of the administrator making the booking.
When a learner makes a booking in the Learning Portal, the learner assumes the role of administrator and the SAP system uses the printer specified in the learner's user master record.
Requirements
You must define customer-specific notification abbreviations in the step Assign notification abbreviations and recipient groups.
Standard settings
The notification abbreviations delivered in the standard system are already assigned to the relevant activities.
Activities
Assign your customer-specific abbreviations to an activity where necessary.
Further notes
It is not possible to define your own function codes.
The advantage of assigning a notification abbreviation to an activity is that it gives you access to the automatic output process for your own, customer-specific notification abbreviations.
