You can use the default content server when you check in a document. Alternatively, you can set the system so that the most suitable content
server for the location is automatically used.
Locations here denote the areas or locations where you are. For example the location Japan can be defined as the location of a user in Japan. A different content server that is geographically nearer can also be
selected in Japan instead of the default content server, which could be
for example in America.
Every author assigns himself a location with his user parameters
(parameter LCA, Value: <Location>).

- Perform the action.
An overview of all the locations that are maintained is displayed.
- You have the following options now:
- You can go to the detail display.
- You can change existing entries.
- You can add new entries.
- Define the name of a location and a short description.
- You can copy and change existing entries.
- You can delete existing entries.
- You can revoke your changes.
Choose the corresponding symbol to perform the required action.
- Save your entries.
Further notes
If you do not maintain a location, the default content server is used when you check in your documents.
You can also change the default content server (see also Changing the Default Category).
