In this step, you specify what attendance types (instructor function or course participation) in Training Management are incompatible with attendance and absence types in Time Management (PT).
When you plan courses or make bookings, persons for whom an absence record exists in PT in the period of the course are not allowed as instructors or participants.
Note
When integration with PT is active, a check is carried out as a rule for instructor function and course participation for all time- dependent courses, such as classroom training.
Example
You can specify the following incompatible absence types for instructor function
- Leave
- Sick with doctor's certification.
Standard settings
The entry $$$$ in the attendance/absence type field stands for days off according to shift schedule. This means that neither course participation nor instructor function are allowed on days off.
Activities
Specify the absence types that are incompatible with course participation and instructor function.
Further notes
You can override the settings you make under $$$$ per course type as required. You would do this if you want to allow a participant to participate in a course on a day off (on a Saturday, for example).
