Use
In this IMG activity, you specify parameters for communication with the Collaboration Room for SAP NetWeaver. This includes the following:
- In the parameter COLL, you specify the level of detail for the output of messages in the application log. The value set in the SAP standard system is 1. You should only increase this number in the event of problems.
- In the parameter EPALS, you specify the quicklink from the SAP Enterprise Portal that is entered in the system landscape for the SAP system of the SAP Learning Solution. As a rule, this is the three-character SAP system name (<SID>). This quicklink is required for mapping between the user in the Enterprise Portal and the user in the SAP system.
- If no quicklink exists, the SAP Enterprise Portal attempts to perform mapping by name matching.
- The quicklink should be identical to the one used in the BSP iView of the SAP Learning Solution in the Enterprise Portal.
- In the parameter EPRFC, you specify the TCP/IP RFC connection created in transaction SM59. Note the following points:
You can use the pseudo destination NONE to switch off integration, for example, if you want to carry out maintenance in the Enterprise Portal. If you use the pseudo RFC destination NONE , you cannot perform administrative editing of Collaboration Rooms in the SAP system. Furthermore, learners cannot be participants of Collaboration Rooms.
- In the parameters EPUSR and EPUPW, you enter the user's user ID and password, which are both required for communication with the SAP Enterprise Portal. This user is not the room owner. It is only used for authentication purposes between the SAP system and the SAP Enterprise Portal.
- The user's user ID must be valid in both the SAP system and in the SAP Enterprise Portal.
- As password, enter the SAP system password of the user and not the password of the user in the SAP Enterprise Portal.
- Note the sequence of the fields in the view maintenance: first the password and then the user ID.
- The user requires no special authorizations or roles in the portal.
