In this step, you define rules that enable you to determine periods during which employees are allowed to exercise their awards. This information is required by the bank or broker on exercising.

Note

Exercise window rules are assigned to LTI plans and can be overwritten at the employee level in infotype LTI Grant (0761).

Example

You could define the following rules:

  • All non-executive employees (exercising allowed)
  • Insiders (exercising allowed only during certain periods, or not allowed during blackout periods)

  2. Enter a 4-character code and a description.
  3. Save your entries.
  4. Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any further rules.
