In this step, you maintain second compensation program groupings. Such groupings are used in infotype Compensation Program (0758) and enable you, in combination with first compensation program groupings, to further differentiate employees for compensation purposes on the basis of various attributes.

Requirements
Standard settings
The SAP System is shipped with a set of compensation program groupings that you can change to meet your company-specific requirements.
Recommendation
Determine which groupings are needed within your organization to further differentiate employees. If you have already defined a first compensation program grouping that covers all compensation plans the employees are eligible for, you only have to define a second compensation program grouping for all employees.
Activities
- Select the relevant compensation area.
- Click New entries.
- Enter a 4-character code and a description.
- Save your entries.
- Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any further groupings.
Further notes
You can set a default grouping for infotype Compensation Program (0758) by means of feature Second Compensation Program Grouping (CP2GP).
