Use
In this Customizing activity, you can specify how the business partner proxy accesses the business partner data. You can make the following settings:
- Local
- Remote via banking services 7.0
- Remote via banking services 8.0
You can use the Remote access mode for the Account Management application areas (excluding the Loan application area).
Requirements
Before you can use business partner data decoupled from a remote instance, you must configure the following service operations:
- Retrieve Business Partner Main Data
- Retrieve Business Partner Relationship
- Update Business Partner Main Data
- Inform Business Partner Main Data as Bulk
- Inform Business Partner Relationship as Bulk

We recommend you make these settings when you configure an instance and do not change these settings at a later date.

If you do not make any settings in this Customizing activity, the system accesses the local business partner data.
