Use

In this activity, you define a constant that you can then use in the activity Define Split Rules. You can use a constant to define a constant (fixed) value instead of a split in an item to be processed when you define a split rule. No split is then carried out for this item.

Requirements

The fields that are available for defining a constant depend on the ledger for which the constant is to be used.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose 'New Entries'.
  2. In the field Constant enter a key, and in the field Name enter a descriptive text for your constant and then choose Save.
  3. Select your constant and then choose Assign Values in the navigation area.
  4. Select the ledger for which you want to define the constant.
  5. Choose the field for which you want to define a constant and enter a fixed value for this field.
  6. Save your constants.
